This release covers a broad set of reliability, display, and offline-sync improvements to Catalis GIS Mobile (formerly MuniSight Mobile) across iOS and Android, with a heavy focus on bringing Android up to par with iOS as the app moves out of beta. iOS is releasing first; Android follows.

Release Details

  • Product Name: Catalis GIS Mobile
  • Category: Standard Release

Experience Improvements

Weed Inspection & Offline Reliability
Weed inspection reliability has been significantly improved: previously inspected properties now correctly display as inspected on the map, changes made while offline save consistently, the app no longer gets stuck displaying two case pages at once while swiping, and inspection status remains visible on the map when zoomed out.

Spray Record Data Entry Fixes
Several data entry issues in spray records have been corrected: hand-picked bag counts, inspection dates, and previously-inspected weed lists now save and display correctly.

Android Display Fixes
A number of Android-specific display issues have been fixed, including cut-off text and input boxes, a clipped splash screen logo, unresponsive header controls, and an app icon that now matches iOS.

Android Navigation and Photo Viewing
On Android, the Submit button in inspection editing now correctly returns to the previous screen, and full-size photos in AG cases now open as expected.

Location and Storage Fixes
Location error messages are now more accurate on both platforms, and on Android, the app uses modern storage permissions so photo capture continues to work reliably on newer devices.

Security & Platform

  • The app’s underlying framework has been upgraded to a current version, maintaining compatibility with the latest iOS requirements.
