Enhancements
- Improved permissions for submissions and attachments
- Viewer users can now view and download attachments, improving access for external users such as contractors and pumpers.
- Submissions in custom statuses now behave like “Pending”: they are editable only by internal staff, giving better control over in‑progress work.
- Easier document access from step view
- Users with viewer access can now download permit documents directly from the step view, not just from the permit summary page.
- Stronger Property & Contact Connector controls
- When the Property Connector is enabled for a workflow, administrators can now require that at least one property is added before the Property Connector step can be completed.
- New options allow you to require at least one contact of specific types (such as Applicant, Owner, Builder/Contractor, or Worker) before completing the Property or Contact Connector steps.
Quality of life improvements
- Consistent editing rules for custom statuses
- Submissions in custom statuses are now treated like “Pending” submissions: they can only be edited by internal staff. This prevents unintended edits by external or third‑party viewers, while keeping status behavior consistent across the system.
- Security and reliability updates
- Updated underlying components related to image handling and dynamic filtering to address high‑severity security advisories, while maintaining existing functionality such as thumbnail generation and table filtering.
Bug fixes
- Public payments no longer blocked by inspection steps
- Fixed an issue where enabled inspections could cause the inspection step to be treated as incomplete (even when hidden), which in some cases prevented public users from requesting payment.
- Accurate dates in reports and daily deposits
- Resolved a time‑zone related issue where submissions and payments completed on one calendar day could appear in reports for the following day, improving statutory tracking and daily deposit reconciliation.
- Property Connector respects disabled address field
- Corrected behavior so that when the Address field is turned off in the Property Connector, it is no longer treated as required on submissions.
- Stability improvements to “My Submissions” filtering
- Fixed an error where filtering the “My Submissions” table by status and applying the filter could cause the page to break.
- Monthly report CSV now includes address information
- Fixed an issue where the Address field was missing from the CSV export of the Monthly Development Permit report.
- Cleaned up exported dates so they no longer include unnecessary time components.
- Reliable adjacent landowner notice generation
- Resolved a problem where switching between different distance options (for example, 60m and 800m) for adjacent landowner notices could clear previously loaded owners, interrupting notice generation.
- Correct titles when editing integrations
- Fixed an issue where editing certain integrations (for example, payment providers) could display the wrong integration name in the page title.
