Document Management Improvements
Website Management release 6.7.0 will significantly improve document management in Catalis CMS. This release will include a new documents section and a new documents content type.
What’s New?
Centralized Document Management
The Documents section provides a convenient way for users to manage their documents by enabling them to create and categorize an unlimited number of folders and documents. Users also get the added benefit of permission inheritance and bulk file uploading.
Documents Content Type
Users can now conveniently link folders and their corresponding documents from the Documents section to a page using the new Documents content type.
The Documents content type includes advanced search functionality. This search function significantly enhances citizens’ access to information by allowing them to effortlessly locate files based on file names and content across various document formats, such as PDF, PowerPoint, Word, plain text, CSV, and HTML.
The Documents content type also includes page-specific settings allowing users to display subfolders.
Document Promotions
Full summary promotions are also available for the new Documents content type.
