Document Manager Updates – Version 7.8.0
This release targets several enhancements requested by customers within the Document Manager.
What’s New?
- Sort Order: Documents are now sorted alphabetically. This went out as a hotfix in release 7.7.1. This change applies to both public Document types, and the Document Center is the site admin portal.
- Expandable and Collapsable Document Tree: The folder structure is now expandable and collapsable. The browser remembers the state of the tree during the session. This allows the user to leave Document Manager and return to the same tree state in the Document Manager.
- New Document Item Actions: The file item in the document manager container has two new actions. The link now opens the document for easy viewing in a new tab. The Replace button allows users to upload a new document and replace an existing version. Content Wizard: Document Field Documents Documents can be attached to most content types within the CMS. The new default model will allow documents from the Document Manager to be connected to content items. This new method allows for documents to be uploaded once and easily reused through the site.
